First NHL visit

This was my first visit on any NHL game. Match itself didn´t meet my expectation. I can compare with KHL visit and I can say the level was same, if not even worse. I was really disappointed when coming to the arena, which is located far away from Miami and in middle of nowhere. There is really a big parking area, and you have to pay 20 dollar... I would understand this regulation, if the arena would be located in middle of the city, NO in middle of nothing. Attractions for fans also in comparison to KHL, NBA on very low level. And ticket price double so high.

Fans and staff made this a negative experience

I went to this game to see the Wings. In all fairness it is a beautiful arena and I didn't have any issues until the game started. The children in the row behind us were so loud and disruptive we couldn't understand the announcer. I ended up getting a water spilled down my back because one of them were messing around and knocked it out of the adults hand, an accident, but still frustrating. Then some male fans a few rows back started yelling "that wasn't an accident" and "welcome to Sunrise" the heckling continued the whole game. The final straw was an usher coming down during intermission because another fan had told them my phone was on the ledge by the glass, I had just sat it up there for intermission because my jeans and the floor were wet and had no intention of leaving it up there for the game. When I told him I would take it down I was scolded like a child and told to do it now. I was so mad I almost started crying. The kids behind us continued to do whatever they wanted and we decided to talk to an usher. We were told he had to talk to his supervisor and would get back to us. A different usher came down to our seats during the second intermission to see how things were going, nothing had changed, she told us she would talk to her supervisor and see what could be done. Nothing was ever done. I was surprised we had such a bad experience as I had never heard anything bad about the Panthers fans or arena staff. I will never recommend going to a Panthers game at BB&T to anyone.

Panthers beat Leafs at home ( again ) WOW!

The BB&T Center Venue is great. Clean, Modern & Secure. Lots of FREE parking nearby and plenty of stadium paid parking available. Good traffic flow when leaving the stadium & area. Food and Beverage prices and quality are reasonable ( for a stadium ). There are PLENTY of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance of the stadium, so a pre-game meal off site is your best bet. The game was VERY entertaining. Panthers win - Leafs lose. My $10 Tuesday seat had a Panthers Prize Voucher attached to it on my arrival. That was a nice surprise! Thank You for a great night out!
